 HR Horse Age System

Since we run in SIM years on HR I thought it would be useful to use an aging system on our horses, so we don't have to go through at the beginning of each SIM year and change all of their ages. Horse's ages will now be listed as the SIM year that they were born and the chart below can be looked at to determine their age. It may be confusing at first but you'll soon learn to recognize certain SIM years as certain ages. The hart part is remembering that your horse ages 1 year every January and July.

2008/2 = Weanling
2008/1 = Yearling
2007/2 = 2 Years Old
2007/1 = 3 Years Old
2006/2 = 4 Years Old
2006/1 = 5 Years Old
2005/2 = 6 Years Old
2005/1 = 7 Years Old
2004/2 = 8 Years Old
2004/1 = 9 Years Old
2003/2 = 10 Years Old
2003/1 = 11 Years Old
2002/2 = 12 Years Old
2002/1 = 13 Years Old
2001/2 = 14 Years Old
2001/1 = 15 Years Old
2000/2 = 16 Years Old
2000/1 = 17 Years Old
1999/2 = 18 Years Old
1999/1 = 19 Years Old
1998/2 = 20 Years Old

When riding a horse we leave our fear, troubles and sadness behind on the ground.
